Stuv 21 in residence at Toorak House
The lush south-eastern suburbs of Melbourne are known for exquisitely designed and opulent homes of all styles – from colonial to Edwardian and modern era mansions. It is in this part of our beloved city that you will find Toorak House, one of the shortlisted projects in the 2020 Australian Interior Design Awards.
Brought to life by Lucy Bock Design Studio and DuoBuilt, this magnificent project sees a period home transformed and extended, with utmost attention to detail. The interior space is minimal in style, characterised by clean lines and bold forms throughout. While the home’s monochrome colour palette is thoughtfully punctuated by pops of colour – deep purple, rich navy and subtle peach.
Bespoke joinery and carefully chosen fixtures show true dedication to craftsmanship. And in the bright and spacious living room of Toorak House – installed in exquisite – you will find Oblica’s own Stuv 21 fireplace. A fantastic addition to the room that will provide a luxurious sense of comfort and warmth.
It is easy to see why Toorak House finds itself shortlisted in the AIDA Residential Decoration category. And this special distinction makes the inclusion of the Stuv 21 all the more exciting! Huge congratulations from our team to the designers and builders of Toorak House, and to all who were shortlisted for this year’s awards.
Stay tuned, the 2020 AIDA winners will be announced 29 May.
