Red Hill House Honoured at BDAV Awards

Dankor Architecture’s Red Hill House, as featured on our Projects page, has been recognised at the Building Design Association of Victoria’s 2012 Building Awards, taking home the award for Most Innovative Use of Timber.

This stunning home started out its life as a shack; and has emerged from its $500,000 renovation a streamlined, welcoming and warm designer space – the focal point of which is, of course, an ErgoFocus fireplace!

The building uses timber to create flow, direct traffic and create a comfortable space with a literally warm glow. This is complimented perfectly by our suspended wood heater, which supports the spacious, airy feel inside the house without cluttering floor space.

Congratulations to Dankor Architecture, on their award as well as their considered and creative execution of Red Hill House renovation.
